Module 5 now steps outside your home and expands into the public sphere. Being in public adds many components to our safety plan that we have little to no control over. As with every component, having a plan will enable you and your family to understand and increase your safety in public.

• EDC for every member of your family: Many of us think of a concealed carry handgun as “EDC” (every-day-carry), but it goes way beyond that. Each member of your family (including your children) should have some specific items that they keep with them to help them level up their preparedness.

• Simple steps to do before you leave the home: A simple procedure to do before you leave your home that is practical and simple, but will increase your safety in public.

• How to schedule and route plan in public: What precautions should you take to plan to avoid dangerous situations or pitfalls while you’re in public.
